Personal Chefs for the Masses

A new company called Munchery is betting that people who cannot afford personal chefs will flock to its online meal prep service. Sign up by zip code and get assigned a “personal” chef who will prepare the meals you want. Service starts at $22 a week. All chefs who sign up must be certified and have access to a commercial kitchen. The idea is similar to Uber, which provides car service to those who can’t afford their own Bentley and driver.
