Better known as “King of Pops” in Atlanta’s Poncey/Highland neighborhood, this street cart looks just like any of the countless frozen confection stands across the country. But for the growing throng of regulars who have turned on to Steven Carse’s popsicles made with all-natural ingredients and intriguing flavor combinations, it’s much more than that. “I’ve come for my liquid crack,” quips Rob, a photographer, who with some other enthusiastic customers, talks about his allegiance to the King of Pops on Toque’s video (filmed and edited by Ila Couch).
