Care for a Little Cabernet with Your Cortisone?

Walgreens, the nation’s largest chain drugstore, has decided to get into the winemaking biz, according to an article last week in the Chicago Tribune. Colby Red–a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Syrah, made via a partnership with Aussie winemaker Daryl Groom and the Napa-centric Treasury Wine Estates–will hit the retail under-$15 sweet spot at around 13 bucks a bottle, and joins the the store’s private beer label, Big Flats, which was introduced into stores last month.
