The holidays approach and kitchens appear to be beefing up staff. Here are a few highlights around the U.S.:

1. Madera, a Michelin star restaurant affiliated with the Silicon Valley’s Rosewood Hotel, is looking for a chef de cuisine. Work with Peter Rudolph, a self-proclaimed workaholic who nevertheless is proud of his restaurant and team.


2. Steakhouse/fine dining restaurant launching in Detroit soon. Looking for a good Executive Chef to lead the charge. $65,000 – $90,000 salary.

3. Need a  job, NOW? Are you a pretty awesome executive chef? Do you live (or want to live) in Miami? Check this one out–an immediate fill for executive chef needed at contemporary fine dining restaurant.

4. Demand Media is looking for its next eHow Food chef star. On-camera chef conducts cooking demonstrations, creates food series of choice; Demand Media matches you with a filmmaker where you live. Great news for creativity, flexibility…but no mention of monetary compensation. Applicant beware.
