Toque Culinary Jobs of the Week: January 24-30, 2011

By on Monday, January 24th, 2011

Didn’t find too many interesting ones in the last few weeks but we are digging deeper and came up with some nice ones. Here goes:

1. For all you high-energy General Manager types, help open a brand-new venue in Delaware County (PA) that will include a pub, live music and banquet service. Asking for good social media skills and the ability to herd cats (20+ employees).

2. Are you a bartender version of Mr. Miyagi? “No such thing as bad drinker, kid; only bad bartender…” Hard Rock Cafe is “casting” for experienced bartenders to teach on their corporate training team. No drama, please.

3. It’s not just ANY chef position for retirees. This is Phoenix (sunshine); luxury (good ingredients); and it’s a restaurant, not meals on trays. Executive Chef, La Siena

4. Wow. Food anthropology with PepsiCo. Appreciate anyone who can tell me exactly what this job entails without making me look like an idiot. It’s listed here because any job with the word “anthropology” attached has gotta be interesting. Director, Culinary Innovation Strategy & Integration
